The Stew Perry Topband Distance Challenge has established itself as the “friendly” 160 meter contest. While it enjoys strong activity, the band is slightly less crowded than the major 160 meter contests. This provides more opportunities for the “non super-stations” to make intercontinental QSOs.
Thanks for your support of the 2009 Stew
Perry. There was lots of activity. Now send your log in!!
Operate a maximum of 14 hours.
Exchange your four digit grid square.

rules.
Cabrillo logs for both events get submitted
to tbdc@contesting.com.
If you logged on paper or with a program that
doesn’t support Cabrillo output – you can use the nifty tool WA7BNM
has developed. You can find it here: http://www.b4h.net/cabforms/. This is a better solution than the old
INSTEW.EXE program.
We are taking suggestions on when the next
Stew should be held. Christmas holiday
(December 25th) falls on the normal day of the contest in 2010. Should it be on the Saturday following Christmas? Or should we move it up a week? Should we just hold it on December 25th? Should we move it up and hold it in
October? Your suggestions are
welcome. Use the mail link at the bottom
of this page.
